Kiwi Alarms LLC is a locally owned security alarm company in Reno, Nevada. Owner Scott Ferguson personally installs and services every system. We use text messages to make working with us easier — confirming appointments, reminding you before an install, and following up on a quote — so you are never waiting on a call back. This page describes our text-messaging program in full. Kiwi Alarms text-messaging program — the essentials 1. **Who is texting you:** Kiwi Alarms LLC, 5150 Mae Ann Ave, Suite 405, Reno, NV 89523. 2. **What the messages are about:** appointment and installation reminders and confirmations, quote follow-ups, service and scheduling notices, and updates about your security system or account. 3. **Message frequency varies** based on your quote, appointments, and service needs. 4. **Message and data rates may apply** according to your mobile carrier's plan. 5. **Reply STOP to stop.** Text STOP to any message to opt out at any time. You will get one confirmation text and nothing further. 6. **Reply HELP for help.** Text HELP to any message, or call or text [775-247-7782](tel:7752477782), or email [scott@kiwialarms.com](mailto:scott@kiwialarms.com). **Consent is not a condition of purchase.** You do not have to agree to receive text messages to get a quote, book a consultation, or buy any product or service from Kiwi Alarms LLC. If you prefer, we will happily work with you by phone call or email instead. **Your number stays with us.** Mobile opt-in data and phone numbers are never shared with, sold to, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. ## How you can opt in We collect consent to text you in two ways. In both cases consent is affirmative — you choose it; we never assume it. Tick it if you would like text messages; leave it blank and we will use email or a phone call. On your own phone, through our quote and business-card pages When you approve a quote online, or open Scott's digital business card after scanning his QR code, the page shows an SMS-consent box next to your phone number. The box is **always unchecked**. You enter or confirm your own number and tick the box yourself, on your own device; Scott cannot tick it for you. We record your yes together with the date, time, and the exact wording you agreed to. You can leave it unticked and still approve your quote and receive full service. ### The two in-app consents, and what each one covers Because the two pages are used at different moments, each has its own consent with its own scope. The exact wording shown next to the unchecked box is: - **Quote approval page — appointment and service notices.** "Yes, Scott at Kiwi Alarms can text me at this number about my appointment and service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, or HELP for help. Agreeing is not a condition of approving this quote." - **Digital business card — quote and service follow-ups.** "Yes, Scott at Kiwi Alarms can text me at this number about my quote and service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, or HELP for help. Agreeing is not a condition of any purchase." We only ever text you about what you agreed to. If you consented on the quote page, you will hear from us about your appointment and service; if you consented on the business card, about your quote and service. Together, our messaging covers quote, appointment, and service updates, plus occasional follow-ups about your quote — nothing broader. ### What the consent language looks like This is the exact wording that appears next to the checkbox on our website forms (shown here unchecked, as it always appears): Yes, Kiwi Alarms LLC may send me text messages about my quote, appointments, installation and service reminders, and my account at the number I provided. Opt-outs are recorded the same way and honored immediately. These records let us prove consent if a carrier or regulator asks, and make sure we never text someone who has asked us not to. ## What we will not do - We will not send marketing blasts, promotions, or "deals" by text. Our messages are about your specific quote, appointment, or system. - We will not text you before you have opted in, or after you have replied STOP. - We will not share or sell your number or your opt-in to anyone for their marketing. - We will not pre-check a consent box for you. ## How to stop or get help - **To stop:** reply **STOP** to any text from us. You will receive a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed.
